CDI Services offer a range of remote
signalling devices such as a simple speech dialler, that contacts you
or a nominated person by telephone and plays a recorded message,
to systems connected directly to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) offering
24 hour 365 day a year response.
On receipt of an alarm, the ARC will contact key holders and/or the
police immediately, and with the aid of audio and visual monitoring equipment
installed at the premises, the ARC can also monitor and record any event
taking place.
Additional monitoring for fire, medical and other assistance can be
provided by our systems.
Connection to our ARC is typically achieved by one of the following;
| Digital Communicator
This is a dedicated modem in the control panel that sends information
when required over your existing telephone line.
|
|
Dual Communicator
This options uses both the existing telephone line and mobile
telephone network providing a dual path for signals to be sent to
the ARC. If the telephone line is cut the signal is still received
at the ARC by means of the mobile network.

|
Redcare & GSM Redcare
Provided by BT, this intelligent continuous alarm monitoring
service is the most secure way of transmitting alarm signals. The
signal paths are continually monitored and signals are received
by the ARC in seconds.
|
Should you have an existing alarm system, recent changes to the ACPO
(Association of Chief Police Officers) Policy regarding Police response
to intruder alarms, false alarms and the new DD243 requirements, may require
your system arrangements to be reviewed. CDI Services
can provide a full inspection, take over, and upgrade of your system to
comply with current standards.
