In 2007 the Confederation of Aerial Installers (CAI), the recognised body for the aerial and satellite industry, launched the CAI Plus Scheme. This was created to provide a two tired membership level. CAI Plus being awarded in recognition of Qualified Digital Installers able to achieve certain performance criteria, hold certification for working at height and having proved security vetting.

 On the 29^th November 2007, CDI received CAI PLUS registration.
